About This Course

This course is designed for beginners in Data Science. No prior programming or mathematical/statistical knowledge is needed. The course includes introduction to basic terminologies in Data Science. Machine Learning and Data visualization is also included.

This course has five modules. The basics of Data Science are covered in the first 2 modules. The third module gives a bridge with databases. Module 4 gives knowledge about machine learning including supervised and unsupervised learning. The last module gives information on how data can be visualized using python notebooks in Jupyter or Google Colab.

Ferdin Joe John Joseph, PhD

Ferdin Joe John Joseph is a lecturer in Data Science and Analytics with the Faculty of Information Technology, Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, Bangkok.He was awarded PhD in Computer Science and Information Systems by the National Institute of Development Administration, Bangkok in 2015. He got his bachelors and masters in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai during 2009 and 2011 respectively. His research interests include Machine Learning and Blockchain.
